At Darlington School in Rome, Georgia, Cross Country course marker honoring fallen classmate, teacher, outdoorsman, friend: Charlie Orr, class of 1975. The stone came from Sparta, Tennessee, 45 inches in diameter, 12 inches thick. A bruiser.

Even back in the 1700's millstones were cool monuments. This one is in Jackson County, Georgia, named for Revolutionary War General, Congressman, and Senator, James Jackson. Looks to be a four footer, imagine setting a ton in a boulder like that.

Brother Bob and self unloading a set stone originally from a mill off the Meherrin River in Virginia. Stone was set knee high as a bench in a prayer garden in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
